Taking advantage of most Internet surfers online period

Posted by Mg | February 21, 2008 .

I found some great info on some forums and I think they are right. The thing I’m going to describe you is how to take advantage of hour where on internet are the most of readers online, and which hour is that?

I’m going to talk about USA and CANADA hour, so if you are from others countries with different GMT, then check what hour is that in your Country. The most readers online or internet surfers is going on 7-8 am, 6-7pm and around 11pm. This means that most of people are surfing in this hour period. So how to take advantage of?

  • try to submit your post in social bookmarking sites at this period, you maybe will get more visitors because of that
  • you can create new posts around this time, maybe will get you some more readers from RSS sites
  • you can do Yahoo answers and get some traffic from there
  • you can post some tutorial posts or review your Blog on forums at that time
  • etc…

So there are a lot things that you can do at that time to take advantage of most readers online period. You need to know that maybe is not all days like that, but averages are at that time.

Great tips. I live in the uk and get most of my traffic from the USA so i always make sure my posts are made at the peak times for them.

That is something I found out over time as well, Mitja. There are times I simply reach more readers, and other times where it’s literally empty, so to speak.

As the poster above mine, I get most traffic from the US, too. Fortunately, my Noth-Brazilian time zone is close to EST.

But since I use WordPress I can schedule my posts to be published at a particular time so I can safely skip watching the clock. ;-)
